About
Sam Rothera is a versatile composer, orchestrator, and multi-instrumentalist based in the South of England, working across film, television, theatre, and game.
​
Recent highlights include scoring Clubhammer, which premiered at London FrightFest 2024, and Undertaker, which won Best Music in a Student Film at Athens Animfest 2023. Sam also received an Offie Award for his sound design on Colossal, Theatre Weekly's Best Show of the Edinburgh Fringe 2022 and Best Theatre Show at Perth Fringe 2023.

Sam holds ATCL performance diplomas in both saxophone and piano. He graduated in 2025 with a Master's in Composing from the prestigious National Film and Television School.
